As a future educator, adaptive technology is something that is so important. This technology helps kids who are diverse learning keep up and continue to learn information just like very other student. Some technology includes kinds that help kids learn how to read by highlighting words as they hear it. Also different types of key boards that help students who are blind or have trouble typing. Another tool is talking spell-checkers. This helps kids learn how to spell by hearing the words out loud. Most kids do a much better job learning things such as spelling by hearing it! Day by day more technology comes out for students to enhance their leaning and as someone majoring in this profession you couldn't be happier with the effort made.
With several levels in Blooms technology it is important you hit them all and find a different way to apply it to all different types of learners. Create, it is key that every students shows there ability and how they are different. You could make a power point on the same topic of something general and make each student ass a slide. If you put them all together at the end you could see how each student creates their own slide. Evaluate, most students have different opinions towards many topics in this world. By putting a topic on a slide you can open a class discussion and let students talk about it. Analyze, the way students look and examine work can be different. Maybe by putting a couple incorrect sentences on a power point and making the students read and figure out whats wrong can help them with the analyzing. Applying knowledge is super important to the students success. By putting questions such as math problems you can make the students write down what the question and answer and wrote it out. Understanding, students could all be assigned a topic and create a power point and report back and present it to the class. It is important that every kid can understand a topic that they have done research on. Remember, you could add flashcards such as ones on quizzlet on a powerpoint with definitions and test the kids and see if they can say the definition. Blooms Taxonomy is a great way of following steps to creating a fully developed student.
