Adaptive Technology for Diverse Learners

Through my individual efforts, I learned there are many different forms of diverse students. Some students can have trouble hearing and others can have trouble seeing. Before this I thought there was only one or two forms of diversity. It was very interesting to discover the other ways. On of the most recent tools that I have been loving using in EME 2040 is Twitter! I have been using twitter my whole life but now I am using it in a totally different way. I know all the backbones and ways as to how to use just from using it everyday and adapting to the ways of twitter. It is a great source that lets you get out information. There is even a tool that students can turn on that will notify them every time a specific person tweets. It would be good for them to do that for their teacher in case they had any last minute announcements. I have been interacting with a lot of my classmates and also educational leaders in the this world. I hope to use this in my future to easily communicate with future students. However, depending on kids maturity, it could be a bad tool to use.
