Tech Standards are a very important concept to master all around before entering the teaching word! With the knowledge I have now, I feel like I could passionately teach my future students the standards Literature, History/Social Studies, Text Structure, and use digital media! Throughout my years of being a student I felt I have adapted these skills very well. You learn a lot by doing things repeatedly and that is what I've done with these skills ! Some of the standards I defiantly need to work more with to try and get are Science/Technology, Evaluate Speakers Point of View, and Vocabulary. Taking time and working with these standards is something I am going to do so I can make the best effort to teach to the best of my ability. I learned how to master the other ones by doing them over and over so I hope to do that with these standards.

With the world we live in today, there is new and improved items coming for us everyday. Technology is huge for all ages and beneficial for so many reasons. In my classroom the internet with defiantly be used. It is a great way to learn knew things and stay connected to the world and your classmates. Emailing is a great tool that helps you and your students have a mature way to talk and send needed information. Also, having a student portal can help the class stay organized and benefit students who do not have planners and good organization and communication skills. All of the Digital Citizenship connects are key to a healthy classroom. I am hoping to teach high school students so I think it will be needed to address the copyright laws so none of my kids get in unneeded trouble. Also, being "netiquette" is very important too due to the fact that when something is on the web, it is there forever. SO it is important for students to learn that.

Even though my newsletter still has not been perfected yet, I am still loving every second of it! This is one of the first assignments I've done that has made me extremely excited to become a teacher! I feel as if news letters are such a great way to communicate to the families of your students. Kids are still young and have growing to do so it is important that their parents are aware with what is going on so they can stay on top of them. I learned how to make columns and articles with cool arts and pictures to add! Next time this happens, I will improve my news letter by making it a little more neat because the first time I was still getting used to everything ! For my future career I hope to email this out to the parents of my kids so they can all be informed on what is going on. It is such a great tool to have learned!
