Prior to entering EME2040, I have been a frequent technology user. Whether it is using my iPhone or my computer, there always seems to be technology by my side. Also, when I am in my car one of the most helpful yet, also sometimes very annoying uses of technology is blue tooth. Although your magical robot voice hears the complete opposite of what you said sometimes, when it does work it is an amazing piece of technology that helps save lives and prevents distracted driving. Recently, I joined the Apple Watch family which has helped me be more aware of how amazing technology is. At all times if my watch is on, I can text back someone, answer a phone call, and even track how many steps I take and hours I stand! All of this greatness just at my wrist. Technology has been a great source to helping and improving my normal life, now I am excited to see where it takes me in the educational world.

 The great thing about technology now and days is more and more is being discovered everyday. Being a student now I come to the conclusion that the more high tech and fun technology gets, the more I learn. Being in EME 2040, I hope to embark on learning different ways to make it much more simpler and fun for my future students to gain the knowledge they need to attain. By taking this class I am hopeful that I will learn many new tricks on giving power points, study techniques with technology, and even fun games that have been invented through technology that help kids gain information rather than just text book reading. I am looking forward to discovering the many great advances that we have at our finger tips in EME 2040!

Tech Standards are a very important concept to master all around before entering the teaching word! With the knowledge I have now, I feel like I could passionately teach my future students the standards Literature, History/Social Studies, Text Structure, and use digital media! Throughout my years of being a student I felt I have adapted these skills very well. You learn a lot by doing things repeatedly and that is what I've done with these skills ! Some of the standards I defiantly need to work more with to try and get are Science/Technology, Evaluate Speakers Point of View, and Vocabulary.
