As hopefully a soon to be US History, I believe taking surveys would be very helpful not only to the student but to the teacher as well. It is beneficial because it is a great idea to learn how your students enjoy learning and what they thought about an assignment. For example, I could ask my history students how they feel about me presenting a power point or them reading the book and then having a class discussion which on which they read. Reporting back is important to see how well the students play out the assignment and if they have done it right. If I use Twitter, using an excel sheet would be beneficial just as it was in this class.

Reviewing my classmates blogs was a great way to learn different tools and designs. Sometimes it was more appealing to the eye to read a blog that was designed better. Also, it was great reading the different opinions on the same topics by all. I thoroughly enjoyed that part of it. It was helpful reviewing their blogs because I got to learn about new and different things such as different adaptive technologies and I would not know about those without reading my classmates blogs.

Technology is becoming more and more abundant everyday and new things pop up. Being a teacher, it is important to stay on top of the new technology out there.  I would like to learn and master the skill of websites such as edline or canvas that update your students on their grades, announcements,  and assignments. I  know the website pretty well from the student side but it will be important to learn from the teacher side. A good way to master this would probably be by communicating with co-workers. Being a new teacher, you will have many teachers who have been working there for many years who would be happy to show you the tricks and tools to learn. Also, watching YouTube videos can show you how to do many different things. Staying on top of many new technology's is defiantly a key to becoming a successful teacher.
